David D. Humes

As Founder of DD Humes Financial Services, David has spent more than 50 years helping individuals and families build financial plans that support their goals, values, and aspirations. Since establishing the firm in 1979, he has championed a holistic approach to planning—one that goes beyond finances to help clients create meaningful, balanced lives.

After beginning his career in education, David entered the financial services industry in 1973 before launching what would become DD Humes Financial Services. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a trusted, multi-generational practice known for its personalized advice and longterm client relationships.

David has remained actively involved in community initiatives throughout his career, including youth sports, local organizations, and educational foundations. Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, golf, the outdoors, and writing, and is the author of the Born Again Hunter book series.
